Balthazar thinks it's probably best he not talk about his impressions of the God of his world. For one thing, it's cosmologically bizarre to him to think about alternate versions of the Creator of all things. There is something not right there, and the possible explanations leave him unsettled. He's not a fan of talking about it with Lucifer, either, but at least he and Lucifer share a certain level of cynicism that Aziraphale doesn't have. But for another thing, the events around him have left him to conclude the Father of his world either ditched the Host completely or is pulling puppet strings in the background and waiting for them to call kill one another. The idea of an Ineffable Plan is not comforting to him.
And yet, somehow he's not really Fallen or Corrupted. What's that say about his universe?
Nothing nearly so interesting as the look in the other angel's eyes and the sudden blush at he repeats the word 'smitten'. Oh, goodness. He really didn't know. Or maybe he didn't want to know. Balthazar's expression softens, eyes warm and bright; there's some amusement there, because he can't help but think this is adorable, but he's not going to deliberately tease too hard.
"Yes you are. Love is for everyone. I don't care what the other angels have told you; it's as much for us as anything in Creation can be."
