If it were Balthazar, he would sense their approach. Levi, on the other hand, is only human, and he's absorbed in his work, so he doesn't look up until they're quite close. When he does, though, he breaks into a warm smile and puts his pastels aside. What he's drawing now looks like a study of tree branches, except that instead of leaves, the tree bears feathers, an asymmetrical arc of a wing wound around--and springing from--the trunk.
"He's here, he's just shut himself off to rest and let me play for a while," he tells Lucifer cheerfully. "I can let him back out if you need him, um..."
But. His gaze strays to Phenex. He'd like some time to talk with them, if he's being honest.
"How are you both doing tonight? Sorry it's been so long."
