His brows quirk a little at the shyness in Lucifer's smile. Speaking of unexpected. Despite the shaky hands, his handclasp is firm. His eyes search Lucifer's for a moment, and then he nods. "It's kinda fun sharing headspace with him sometimes. Knowing what he looks like to other people, but in here--" he taps his own temple. "--sometimes he's like a kid that's had too much candy. It's a whole new world out here."
He sits back a little and looks out at the terrace. "He's real excited about it, and I like that. I'm just not sure what my place is. I've been out of commission for a hundred years. It's nice that he wants to give me a chance to live again, but what the hell do I do with it?"
"I mean--sorry, I don't expect you to have that answer, either. Just, it's something that's on my mind."
