Lucifer could sink into terrible melancholy and sadness due to torture, isolation, and pain. However, when the taint of despair rises in the other angel his response is very different. Hope rages through his presence, pure and eternal. For all the sin, especially lust and wrath, that often controlled Lucifer's moral compass the virtues remained as they had existed when he was created. Hope and passion suddenly burned the brightest.
As the contact with Lucifer grew in intensity and duration the wild shifts between his states would become clearer. He's in flux between emotions, sins, virtues, vices and significantly effected by the external environment, at the moment the influence is Balthazar and little else.
Lucifer's wing comes around, pressing into the center of Balthazar's back, pulling him closer, and his grip on the angels hair tightens. The lips trailing across his skin brings a carnal gasp and rush of feeling races through the Fallen Angel. It's lust and a touch of surrender to the younger angel.
