Sometimes Loki forgot just how stealthy he could actually be around those who did not sense him. The god offered the man a coy smirk and then walked up closer to study his work in detail. Murals? The kind that would appear on walls or the sides of buildings. Was this man a mortal painter?
"When you say "back in the day?" Are you referring to your own world? The one before you arrived into the Nexus?"
Was it possibly that this man was a time traveller? At least the inkling given off by his past tense hinted that he was from another time. Loki himself was from another time and indeed another realm entirely. Perhaps this painter had become another Nexus resident without even wanting to. Everyone was in the same boat. Yet, he was still using his craft and that meant his skills weren't wasted.
"I, myself, are not from this time also. Along with half the Nexus population."
