Lucifer wasn't one for nicknames or pet names, it was one of the remnants of his old formality, but with Balthazar it seemed the right thing. It revealed a lot about his emotional state though he hadn't thought about that yet.

"You should see where I live." Lucifer had a rare moment of joking about his damnation. He obliged to use magic to redress as well. Fire curling through his wings briefly, as it did whenever his angelic powers surfaced.

"Nothing is impossible." Lucifer smiled though he knew that visiting would probably be even more foolish than what was already going on. His ability to experience hope often lead to more trouble than one would expect from a virtue.
